
All our vehicles are fitted with GPS -Global Positioning Satellite units that link up to the Data Despatch Booking system. This automatically plots the location of each vehicle so that the nearest suitable vehicle will receive the nearest job. This allows us to dramatically reduce the amount of time that a customer must wait for their taxi.
With the Caller Line Identification system, when a customer calls their phone number automatically appears on the Booking Screen. If the telephonist then saves the customer's pick-up details with their phone number, the next time they call the details will automatically appear on the Booking Screen as the telephonist lifts the receiver!
CLI dramatically speeds up the process of taking bookings and improves information accuracy. A cross section of Auriga's Caller Identification customers report that their accuracy has improved to about 95%, and their call rate is up by 20%.
