Welcome to Acorn Cars Private Hire Taxis. We are based in Knowsley, Liverpool. We operate a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year complete door to door professional service. Our services include first class private hire taxis, top quality executive transfers, airport travel, wedding cars and a very reliable courier service.

Our aim is to provide and deliver a quality first class service at a fair and reasonable price to all our customers. We have invested heavily in both our staff and the latest technology available to the taxi trade in order to offer all our customers a superior service.

Our fully computerised Call centre has the latest full Data Booking and Despatch system with CLI to handle your booking with ease. All our vehicles are equipped with the latest GPS (Global Positioning Satellite system) ensuring that the nearest available car is despatched to you at the quickest possible time. We have also incorporated the new Call back feature that allows us to notify you when your taxi has arrived. For business customers we also utilise the Admin 2000 application to help business customers keep track of their accounts.

You the customer are our number one priority that is why your complete satisfaction and safety is of importance to us. All our call centre staff are trained to a high standard and are there to help you with your bookings. All our drivers are fully badged and licensed by Knowsley M.B.C, are vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau and have a comprehensive knowledge of the Borough and surrounding areas. We have now secured new retail premises within Kirkby Town Centre where we will commence building work at the end of May 2011. The building will operate as a walk on office for all our customers who visit the St Chads Shopping Precint. The office will provide our customers with a comfortable safe waiting area whilst they await the arrival of their vehicle. The office will also provide our staff with all the comforts a state of the art Call Centre has to offer.

We opened the doors of our new office to the public on Monday 11th July 2011 to great comments and feedback from the general public. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome both new and old customers to fully utilise our walk in operation at 8 St Chads Parade, Kirkby after completing their daily shopping or leisure pursuits. Day 1 - Work Commences on ripping out the old retail shop

We would like to thank all those involved in the rip out, build and delivering of our new offices. We would also like to thank the suppliers and their staff in helping us to deliver this project to such a high specification in such a short time.

Phase 1 of our new High Profile - High Visibilty advertising Campaign was launched recently on the 24th September 2007 in Kirkby Town Centre and involves a series of 20ft x 10ft Roadside Biilboards being strategically placed around our local operating areas for two week periods.

Phase 2 will be active from 10th October 2007 and will run for two weeks on two weeks off basis until mid December.

Phase 2 Lower House Lane, Norris Green

Phase 3 will be in operation from 22nd October 2007 and will run concurrently for 10 months in a prime roadside location and will target new and existing customers. ***WATCH THIS SPACE*** EAST LANCS ROAD is now live.

Phase 4 will be in operation from 5th of November 2007 and will concentrate on areas where we already have a presence.
